Emily Tyson

Founder - For me, my love of movement started at a very young age when I took my first ballet class. Being a ballerina exposed me to the Pilates world and in 2005 I got my Pilates mat and apparatus certification from Body in Sync in New York. I went on to teach the Pilates method under the guidance of Lesa Salvani at In Balance Pilates studio in Sag Harbor.

The SCULPT class is my dream class. I created an expression of movement I was always searching for but could never find; methodical movements in a heated room with music that makes me feel something. Each and every time you step into my class I want you to have an experience that’s engaging and meaningful.

In 2015 after the birth of my daughter Ruby, I could no longer attend group fitness classes with the freedom I once had. Being home bound forced me to experiment with what worked and what didn’t when Ruby napped. Through trial and error and what worked on my body, I curated a system that’s fun, effective, and really sweaty! This workout was designed to create long, lean muscles by using light weights at an aerobic pace. I used this method throughout my second pregnancy and after the birth of my son Lukas to reconnect to my body and heal my diastasis. I am very committed to working with pregnant and postpartum moms as they work to find and keep a deep connection to their body. Every movement is done with precision and intention to create beautiful definition and balance in the body. You will release amazing endorphins while you sweat to upbeat music, and hopefully have a lot of fun!

In January of 2020 I opened the SCULPT by Emily Tyson studio in Hampton Bays. I am proud to offer you in studio and zoom classes as well as the subscription service SCULPT ELITE.

Sarah Froehlich

Teacher - Sarah is a group fitness instructor who has studied directly under Emily in the SCULPT by Emily Tyson method. She splits her time between Hampton Bays NY and Rincon Puerto RIco.

Sarah was a division 1 collegiate swimmer at Texas A&M. From there life took over and fitness was put on the back burner. In 2018 Sarah decided to get back into shape and starred taking Tribe fitness classes. Within a year she was a certified Tribe fitness coach.

In January 2020 she was looking to move her body in a new way and came across the SCULPT method with Emily. This method finally allowed Sarah to move in a way her body was craving. It allowed her a new range of mobility and flexibility in her body.

Eventually the opportunity to bring a pop up SCULPT class to Puerto Rico presented itself and she started teaching in Rincon. For the summer and fall season she teaches at the Hampton Bays studio then heads down south to teach in Puerto Rico.

Sarah creates classes that will challenge and exhaust every muscle in your body! She’s truly grateful to bring this method to you!!
